NOVEMBER 6th - 8th 2020
Sam Dix is husband to his beautiful wife Esther and a new father to his first daughter Jordyn Rae. He is currently on staff at Centrepoint Church as youth and worship pastor, and is passionate about helping people find Jesus and walk into their God-given calling. He believes that there is power in gathering people to seek after God, because where there is hunger and faith in a room God can’t help but want to do miracles, transform hearts and release destiny.
Josh Fernandez serves as senior pastor of GraceLife, a church with a strong focus on raising disciples and engaging with the local community.
Having taken on the senior leadership of GraceLife in 2010, God has blessed the church by expanding it to three locations in Malaga, Ellenbrook and Livingstone (Zambia). The church‘s emphasis on working with local councils and partnering with other local churches & community organisations has been a critical factor in the church’s reach and fruitfulness.
Josh and his amazing wife, Kylie, have been married for 13 years and have three sassy young daughters: Grace, Esther and Hope.
“I’m praying and believing that this conference will see the person & presence of the Holy Spirit encounter and empower us to love our neighbour in new, fresh and practical ways.”
I love Jesus, love my family and love the church. I am a dad of four kids and along with my wife Emma, strive to parent and love them well. I have been a pastor at Riverview Church for the last seven years and have recently been called out of that local church and into a new, exciting season. Our heart is for people.
I’m so excited to be sharing at the ‘Activ8tion’ conference and sharing part of my story, hearing all of yours and encouraging one another to allow God to ‘activate’ something in all of us, leading to bigger, Kingdom focussed lives!
See you there!
Human flourishing was God’s plan all along and we love to ‘get in the mess’ and partner with God, as He brings creation all the way back to Himself. In God’s economy, all of His image bearers have value and deserve dignity, but in our human economy, that’s not always the case. I’m so stoked that we get to play a part in God’s cosmic plan of redemption. One person, one conversation, one action at a time. I’m big on communing with God daily to hear, listen act and respond as to what he calls us to do, to be the active citizen in the Kingdom of heaven He’s called us to be.
